[Important] Notice of UUID Change for Binance/Bitget deposit Verification (2/25 22:30 SGT estimated)

Dear Traders,
We are informing you about changes to the Open API and the scheduled implementation timeline.
If you are using the ‘Verify Travel Rule with Deposit UUID/TxID’ feature for deposits from Binance/Bitget, please review the following changes carefully and take any necessary actions.(※ Upbit Singapore Only)
[Changes to Travel Rule Information for Binance and Bitget]
- Suspension of Digital Asset Deposits and Withdrawals from Binance and Bitget :
- Suspension Schedule : 22:30 – 23:00 SGT, 25th February 2025
- The completion time may vary. Services will resume without notice if the maintenance is completed.
- Due to maintenance by the travel rule solution provider, travel rule verification will be temporarily unavailable, preventing the processing of digital asset deposits and withdrawals.
- Even if travel rule verification was completed before the maintenance period, some withdrawals may be delayed during the transmission of verification data. These transactions will be processed in sequence once the maintenance is completed.

Important Notice
- If you are processing deposits from Deposit Verification Using UUID or Deposit Verification Using TxID , please thoroughly check whether your program requires any updates in advance.
- If you attempt to verify the Travel Rule using the new
vasp_uuid
before the transition is complete, the system will not recognize the exchange and verification will fail.
What is Upbit's Travel Rule?
- Travel Rule aims to provide transparency, AML/CFT risk mitigation and sanction screening about the transfer of digital assets. Virtual Asset Service Providers (“VASPs”) are required to collect and submit the required originator (sender) and beneficiary (receiver) information to the beneficiary VASP prior to or simultaneously for any digital asset transfers.
- Supported VASPs can be found at Upbit > Support > FAQ > Travel Rule > Supported VASPs "All deposit requests will be processed automatically only if your information (Name and Date of Birth) matches.
